I can't tell you how satisfied I am with Bella and most folks who hunt with me cannot believe Bella's in
her first full season. She is outstanding in every respect! My older dog had surgery and Bella has hunted the entire teal and big duck season. Her only fault is she hates to quit - she really loves to hunt and loves birds, especially live ones.

Including teal season, she has retrieved in excess of 1,000 birds.

It was comical for the freeze - she had never been on ice but she figured it out.

Even though she hunts almost every day, she is spoiled. My wife heats her blanket in the dryer on cold nights and she sleeps on the porch @ the camp with heat on cold nights.

January, 2009 –
Bella finished her first season yesterday.  She was with the trainer until the split, but I got to make about 15 hunts with the 1 year old pup and she did great!  Every bird we shoot is a blind retrieve because of the way we are set up and she probably picked up 50 birds for the season.  Her first duck was a banded green head!

I have had three really good hunting dogs, but Bella has the makings of the best.  Her drive is phenomenal.  Her nose is very good and she turns on a dime 30 yards down wind.  Bella will hunt more than most dogs because she will hunt almost every day of the season next year.

Can’t wait for teal season 2009!
